May 18, 2007 | Women's Tennis
BOSTON - Sophomore Cori Lefkowith (Clayton, Mo.) earned a spot on the 2007 America East All-Academic Tennis team. A student in the College of Communication, she was honored for her achievements on and off the court.
Lefkowith had a successful 2007 campaign with the Terriers, finishing the year with a 21-7 singles record - primarily at the No. 5 spot. She ended the spring with a 15-1 singles mark, recording her lone loss against then-No. 29 Florida International.
Each All-Academic Team has been selected based on the student-athlete’s academic and athletic accomplishments. Academic achievement for consideration requires student-athletes to have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 entering the season. Athletic accomplishment standards vary between team sports and individual sports. Team size for individual sports is determined by the number of all-conference honorees who possess the minimum academic requirement. Freshman are not eligible for the All-Academic Team.
