Junior co-captain Cori Lefkowith received 2008 women's tennis team MVP honors. A first-team all-conference honoree for singles and a second-team member for doubles, Lefkowith was also named to the America East All-Academic team.

While helping guide the Terriers to their 19th-overall league title and 10th consecutive NCAA tournament berth, she tallied a team-best 17-11 singles record and went a perfect 9-0 at fourth singles. She closed out the spring by winning 10 of her last 12 completed singles matches. The native of Clayton, Mo., paired with fellow captain Danielle Abraham and went 17-13 in doubles, including 11-8 in the second spot.
