Women's Tennis Earns National Ranking in Latest ITA Poll

BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team is currently ranked 73rd in the latest Campbell's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, which were released Tuesday afternoon. The Terriers went 1-for-2 last weekend against nationally-ranked opponents, defeating then-No. 52 VCU, 4-3, after falling to No. 55 Old Dominion, 4-3, during their trip to Virginia.
The ranking is the first for the program since 2007, when the Terriers were ranked as high as 63rd.
BU will next travel to Florida, where the women will face off against No. 75 South Florida on Saturday (April 4), followed by a visit to Florida Gulf Coast University on Sunday (April 5).
