Softball to Hold Walk-On Tryouts in September

BOSTON -
The Boston University softball program will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. for any BU students interested in trying out for the team. Tryouts will be held the following Monday (Sept. 7) from 10-2 p.m. and Wednesday (Sept. 9) from 3:30-6 p.m.
The mandatory meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the softball office on the second floor of the BU athletics offices at 300 Babcock Street (across from Case Center). Interested students should bring their fall class schedules to the meeting and will need to have a physical in order to participate in tryouts. A copy of the physical that was required for BU admittance is sufficient.
Also, each student needs to fill out two additional forms that can be accessed at the links below. Each student should bring these completed forms to the meeting:
Athletic Medical Screening Packet (.pdf)
Consent to Participate in Varsity Athletics Form (.pdf) - this form requires a doctor's signature
