
Women's Tennis Earns 5-2 Win at UMass

AMHERST, Mass. - Snapping a three-match losing streak to ranked teams, the Boston University women's tennis team defeated the University of Massachusetts, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon. Winning four sets in singles action without dropping a game, the Terriers improve to 8-10, while the Minutewomen drop to 11-7 and 6-2 at home.
BU swet through doubles action and won four of the six singles matches for the victory. Freshman Vivien Laszloffy blanked Tanisha Hodgson, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Stefanie Nunic and Jessi Linero each added a point with two-set victories to give BU the team win.
The Terriers will next host Bosotn College on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
