Hardy Named AE Pitcher of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Senior Cassidi Hardy has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday evening. Hardy won two games in three appearances last week and picked up one save, as she did not allow a single run.
The 2009 Most Outstanding Player at the America East Championship, Hardy went 2-0 in a key conference series against Maine and picked up a save against Harvard earlier in the week. She allowed just three hits, one walk and struck out 23 over 16 scoreless innings of work.
After a week-long break, BU will close out its regular season and aim to clinch first place in the America East Softball Championship as it will host Hartford on Saturday (May 8) and Sunday (May 9).
