
Women's Tennis Sweeps Quinnipiac, 7-0

BOSTON - Playing in its first home match of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team earned a 7-0 sweep over Quinnipiac Saturday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. The Terriers dropped just a total of 14 games during six singles contests to improve to 1-2, while the Bobcats fell to 0-2.
Junior Stefanie Nunic had a standout performance, blanking Rachel Cantor at No. 1 singles and earning an 8-0 victory at the top doubles spot with sophomore Vivien Laszloffy. Junior Monika Mical along with sophomores Jessi Linero and Laszloffy each had a flawless set to help the Terriers pull off the sweep.
BU will next host Rhode Island on Sunday with action slated to begin at 1 p.m.
