Following Saturday's 7-0 win over Quinnipiac, the Boston University women's tennis team earned a 7-0 sweep over Rhode Island Sunday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. The Terriers only dropped a combined 15 games in doubles and singles action to improve to 2-2 on the season, while the Rams fell to 4-3.
Freshman Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis and sophomore Jessi Linero blanked their opponents at No. 4 and 5, respectively, while senior Vanessa Steiner and junior Monika Mical each had a flawless set.
BU will next host No. 61 Dartmouth on Wednesday (Feb. 9) at 3 p.m.
