
Nunic Earns Third America East Player of the Week Award

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the third time this season, Boston University women's tennis junior Stefanie Nunic has been named the America East Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. The league's two-time Player of the Year helped the Terriers (9-6) earned a 4-3 victory over the Big East's Cincinnati last Wednesday.
Nunic blanked the Bearcats' top player, Ksenia Slynko, 6-0, 6-0. With the win, the junior has taken her last 11 singles matches without dropping a set. In doubles, she teamed with junior Monica Mikal for an 8-3 victory at the top spot.
BU will next host Massachusetts on Friday (April 1) at 3 p.m.
