
April Setterlund Named Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior April Setterlund of the Boston University softball team has been named this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Torrance, Calif., native batted .500 over four games in the America East tournament to help the softball team advance to the America East championship game on Saturday.
Setterlund was 6-for-12 with two runs, a double, a home run and a tournament-best six RBIs. Facing elimination on the tournament's second day, the senior captain turned in one of her best performances of the weekend as she unloaded three hits and drove in six RBIs - tying a single-game tournament record -to lead the Terriers past Binghamton, 7-0. In all, she accounted for six of the Terriers' seven runs.
Setterlund will graduate as the program's career leader in batting average (.416), runs (170), hits (264), doubles (60), RBIs (140) and slugging percentage (.679). She also boasts single-season program records for batting average (.482), hits (80), doubles (19), RBIs (52), runs (63) and slugging percentage (.861). In 2010, she became the program's first-ever NFCA Division I All-America First Team selection.
