ALLSTON, Mass. - The Boston University women's tennis team opened the 2011-12 season at the Harvard Fall Classic. Junior Jessi Linero led the Terriers by advancing to the semifinals of the Singles B Flight and teaming with sophomore Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis to reach the finals of the Doubles B Flight.
Athanasiadis lost in the first round of the Singles A Flight but came back with two strong wins to win the consolation final.
The Terriers will next compete at the Brown Invitational on Sept. 23-25.
