For the second straight season, Floetker earned a spot on the NFCA All-Northeast Region Second Team for her performance in the circle. The right-handed hurler owns a 19-3 record on the season and a 1.36 ERA, which ranks 21st in all of Division I. Floetker pitched 17 complete games, including a team best six shutouts. The sophomore fanned 143 batters in 164.2 innings of work and limited opposing teams to a .214 batting average.

Mask joins Floetker on the second team after a standout sophomore season in which she started 49 games in right field. As BU’s leadoff batter, she posted a team best .368 batting average while also leading the Terriers with 57 hits on the season and tying for second with 38 runs scored. The speedy runner swiped 24 bases and ranks 37th in the nation with 0.49 stolen bases per game. Mask leads the team with a .441 on-base percentage.
After earning a spot on the All-Conference Second Team as a freshman, she received first team honors this season. Mask also joined Floetker on the America East All-Tournament team.
Fellow sophomore Volpano receives NFCA All-Northeast Region honors for the first time in her career after starting all 54 games for the Terriers at third base. Volpano batted .323 on the season with 53 hits, including 13 doubles and three home runs. The sophomore led the team with 36 RBIs and batted in multiple runs in nine games this season. Volpano also had the longest reached base streak on the team by getting on base in 29 straight games for the Terriers.
Volpano was also an All-Conference Second Team member for the second straight season.
The All-Region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches from each region, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to one of three 2012 NFCA Division I All-American teams. In addition, conference pitchers and players of the year not selected to the regional teams were added for All-America consideration.
