Mask earned her second straight NFCA All-Region honor after leading the America East with a .399 batting average. Named to the All-Region Second Team as a sophomore, she recorded 37 stolen bases, the fourth most in conference history, en route to earning All-Region First Team honors this season.
The outfielder led the conference with 59 hits and a .464 on-base percentage. She finished tied for third in the league with 30 runs scored and batted a league-best .480 in conference play. The junior also contributed a personal 14 RBIs from the lead off position.
In addition to being named the America East Player of the Year, the Grafton, Mass., native earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team as well as the All-Academic Team while owning a 3.35 GPA.
Mask is one of two players from the America East to earn NFCA All-Northeast Region honors and the only player from the conference to be placed on the First Team.
The All-Region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches from each region, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to one of three 2012 NFCA Division I All-American teams. In addition, conference pitchers and players of the year not selected to the regional teams were added for All-America consideration.
