BOSTON - Continuing a four-match homestand, the Boston University women's tennis team claimed a 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac on Friday afternoon at the BU Track & Tennis Center. With their second sweep, the Terriers improve to 2-0, while the Bobcats fall to 1-3.

In doubles action, sophomores Kim McCallum and Madison Craft won the first contest at the No. 3 slot, 6-1. Sophomore Lauren Davis and freshman Barbara Rodriguez followed with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles.

BU continued its strong play in singles by winning 72 of the 85 games played for six straight-set victories.

Sophomore Johanna Hyoty (#1), Davis (#2), senior Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis (#3), junior Sami Lieb (#4), Rodriguez (#5) and Craft (#6) all made quick work of their opponents.

The Terriers will next quickly return to action Saturday (Feb. 1) at 2 p.m. against Dartmouth.
