Terriers Battle Three Opponents at Dartmouth Invitational

Junior Johanna Hyoty led the Terriers with a pair of singles victories. She opened the event with a 7-6, 6-2 win over Minnesota's Caroline Ryba, a five-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net. She then quickly dispatched UMass' Carol Benito, 6-1, 6-2, before dropping a 6-2, 6-3 decision to Dartmouth's Taylor Ng, who ranks 10th in the region.
In doubles, junior Kim McCallum and sophomore Barbara Rodriguez teamed together for two doubles victories. They rebounded from a hard-fought 8-6 defeat to Minnesota with an 8-4 victory over UMass and 8-6 win against Dartmouth.
The Terriers will next conclude the fall schedule at the Harvard Fall Invitational on Nov. 7-9.
