CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After claiming its fourth-straight automatic NCAA berth, the Boston University women's tennis team had a program-record nine members named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Thursday afternoon. Every Terrier finished with at least a 3.25 GPA, helping head coach Lesley Sheehan's squad capture the Team GPA Award at the annual BU Student-Athlete Awards Reception.
Recent graduate Madison Craft (Frisco, Texas) made her fourth appearance on the Honor Roll as a human physiology major with a perfect 4.00 GPA. Freshman Clara Falxa (Hossegor, France) matched Craft's efforts majoring in communications.
Sophomores Sophia Kryloff (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Kaely Malik (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) were just a tad off the mark at 3.94 and 3.93, respectively. Kryloff is majoring in business administration, while Malik is focused on film and television.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
