
Program-Record 14 Terriers Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After reaching the Patriot League tournament's championship round for the third time in four years, the Boston University softball team had a program-record 14 Terriers named to the PL Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.
The number of honorees surpasses last year's total of 12 and matches Colgate for the most this season in the Patriot League. Junior Jilee Schanda, the 2017 PL Player of the Year, was just one of six student-athletes to achieve a 4.00 GPA, while senior Gabi Martinez was one of six to be named to the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth consecutive season.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
