- BU outscored the Catamounts, 10-2, in a weekend sweep at Gutterson Fieldhouse last season.
- The Terriers have recorded at least one point against Vermont in all 14 seasons as a varsity program.
BEST OF BU AGAINST THE CATAMOUNTS
- Sammy Davis leads the Terriers in goals (6), assists (8) and points (14) against Vermont, thanks in part to a three-point weekend (1g, 2a) in November.
- Jesse Compher has recorded three goals and five assists for eight points in five games against the Catamounts.
- Mary Grace Kelley (1g, 4a) and Abbey Stanley (1g, 3a) have five and four points, respectively, against UVM.
- Reagan Rust has tallied three assists against Vermont while fellow defenders Connor Galway and Abby Cook each have two helpers against UVM.
- Mackenna Parker collected three points (2g, 1a) in her first two games against the Catamounts back in November.
- Natasza Tarnowski has tallied a goal and an assist while Kristina Schuler has lit the lamp and Katie Shannahan has one assist.
SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
- Vermont has lost four straight games and six of its last seven, with a 5-4 home victory over Merrimack on Jan. 12 the only triumph in that span.
- The Catamounts were most recently swept in a weekend series at No. 3 Northeastern, though they did take the Huskies to overtime last Friday.
- Eve-Audrey Picard leads the Catamounts in goals (7), assists (11) and points (18).
- Kristina Shanahan (5g, 8a) and Saana Valkama (5g, 7a) are the other Catamounts with at least 10 points.
- Melissa Black has started all 21 games in which she has appeared for Vermont.
- She owns a 2.83 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage.
- Black started both games at Walter Brown Arena in November.
QUITE THE STREAK FOR BU
- The Terriers enter the weekend with the second longest active unbeaten streak in the nation at seven games.
- BU saw its six-game win streak snapped thanks to a 3-3 tie at Merrimack this past Saturday afternoon.
- Only Princeton's 19-game unbeaten streak is longer.
POLL POSITION
- BU moved to No. 8 in both the USCHO.com poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Poll that came out this week.
- It's the first time since Oct. 5, 2015, that the Terriers have been ranked eighth or better in any national poll.
COMPHER FIRST TO 30 ASSISTS
- Sophomore Jesse Compher became the first NCAA skater to collect her 30th assist of the season thanks to her two-assist effort in the 3-3 tie at Merrimack.
- It was her 21st game with an assist this season, more than any other skater in the entire country.
- Compher has recorded at least one assist in an NCAA-best 80.8 percent of her games this year.
- She is also second in the country with seven multi-assist games this year.
- Compher is second in the NCAA and first in the WHEA with 1.15 assists per game.
