
Kennedy Tabbed Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Following guiding the Boston University women's soccer team to a pair of shutouts, junior McKenna Kennedy has been named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday.
Kennedy was instrumental in guiding the backline to clean play over 200 minutes of action while holding both Army West Point and Loyola to single-digit shots. The junior captain held the Black Knights to just eight shots in BU's 1-0 victory on Wednesday, securing the Terriers first road win of the season. Kennedy followed by aiding the Terriers to limit the Greyhounds to just nine shots in a 110 minute double overtime draw on Saturday. Kennedy was the lone field player to see the field for all 200 minutes on the week
BU will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at Lehigh.
