BOSTON - With the regular season in the books, the No. 4 Boston University women's lacrosse team will host No. 5 Colgate in a quarterfinal round matchup of the Patriot League Tournament on Sunday, April 28. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

TOURNEY TIME
- BU is 6-5 all-time in the PL tournament and has advanced to the semifinals all five seasons since joining the league.
- This will be the fifth time BU will host a tournament quarterfinal game and the second straight season it will open up postseason play against Colgate.
- Additionally, this will be the first postseason game between BU and Colgate at Nickerson Field.
- Kailey Conry leads the NCAA with 3.79 assists per game, while her 5.53 points per game ranks sixth.
- Kaitlin Belval leads team in goals (30) and is coming off her 11th multi-goal effort of the season against Navy.
- Belval's first goal against the Mids marked the 100th of her career.
- Kelly Mathews is also approaching the 100-point milestone as she is two points away.
- Emily Vervlied saw her 12-game scoring streak snapped against Navy, but set a new career high with three assists.
- The sophomore leads the team in goals (20), ground balls (19) and caused turnovers (20) in conference play.
- Lexi Lewis has produced 24 of her 34 points in Patriot League games.
- Hannah Kenneally leads the Terriers with a 15-game point streak and the leading freshman scorer on the team with 31 points on the season.
- Both Bianca Smith and Kennady Smith have seen time in net in each of the last four games.
- Colgate scored four of the final six games to push past Lafayette, 13-12, in its regular season finale, finishing with a 5-4 conference clip and a 7-9 overall record.
- Tara Atkinson is top the offensive threat, leading the Raiders in points (51) and assists (26).
- Atkinson is coming off a five-goal effort against Lafayette and has notched three straight hat tricks.
- Noelle Patterson leads Colgate with 32 goals and has scored in all 16 games.
- Ingrid Backe has caused a team-best 18 turnovers, while Danielle Van Calcar has won 53 draw controls.
- Samantha Croston has started all 16 games in net, posting a .466 save percentage to go with a 11.94 goals against average.
- BU out scored the Raiders 13-2 in the first half as it cruised to a 17-12 victory in the regular season matchup March 27 at Nickerson Field.
- The Terriers hold an 8-5 lead in the all-time series and have won three of the last four games.
UP NEXT
- The Patriot League Tournament semifinal round will take place on Thursday, May 2 at Loyola.
- Should the Terriers advance, they would play top-seeded Loyola at 5 p.m.
