JENNA OLDHAM
- Oldham becomes the seventh Terrier in program history to be named the Defensive Player of the Year. Overall, a Terrier has earned the honor 11 times now.
- She is the third to win the award in the Patriot League, and the first since Rachel Bloznalis in 2017.
- This is Oldham's second First Team selection as well after she was picked for the 2020-21 squad.
- The Lithia, Florida, native leads BU with seven assists and 15 points, and is tied for the team lead with four goals while starting all 18 games this fall.
- Oldham has also helped guide a Terrier defense that has allowed just six goals in nine Patriot League matches, registering three shutouts. BU has allowed more than one goal in just one league contest.
- Feldman collects her third-career Patriot League Coach of the Year honor, and her 12th total Coach of the Year award as BU's head coach.
- In her 27th season, Feldman guided the Terriers to their fourth Patriot League regular season title and 14th regular season championship in program history.
- BU went 6-1-2 against league foes in the regular season and went 10-5-3 overall for its first double-digit win season since 2018.
- After the Terriers' win over Yale earlier this month, Feldman moved into 12th place all-time in NCAA history in career wins at the Division I level. She enters the Patriot League Tournament on an eight-game unbeaten streak with 417 wins at BU under her belt.
- Oldham and McNulty earn First Team honors to become the first duo represented since Anna Heilferty and Dorrie Varley-Barrett in 2018.
- Oldham also becomes the first Terrier since Bloznalis to snag a spot on the First Team in consecutive years.
- McNulty, who earns her first-career All-League award, is second on the team with six assists and 10 points, and has scored two goals.
- All six of her assists as well as one goal came against conference foes, including two helpers at Army on Wednesday.
- Stureman and Matthews each record their first All-League spots in their respective careers.
- After starting six of her first 23 games in two seasons, Stureman started 15 games for the Terriers in the regular season, playing over 1,150 minutes.
- She also earned an assist in BU's 2-1 victory over New Hampshire on Sept. 12.
- Matthews tallied a goal and an assist while playing in all 18 games, making 13 starts.
- She picked up her first collegiate point in the 3-1 triumph over Navy, then scored her first-career goal with less than three minutes left in regulation in BU's 2-2 draw at Bucknell.
- BU's four selections on the Third Team were the most for any Patriot League program.
- Thompson earns a spot during her first season at BU, a year where she has totaled four goals and an assist to this point.
- Conlin totaled 1,416 minutes during the regular season, most on the team. She has started every game since her sophomore year.
- Buck also played major minutes on BU's back line, compiling 1,340 minutes while aiding in the Terriers' six shutouts on the year.
- Pereira has notched three goals and two assists so far in her junior year, including her brace on Wednesday to beat Army and seal the regular season championship.
- BU, the No. 1 seed in the 2021 Patriot League Tournament, hosts a semifinal match at Nickerson Field on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
- The Terriers will face the lowest remaining seed following Sunday's quarterfinal matches.
