BOSTON, Mass. – Before celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, the Boston University women's basketball team wraps up its three-game homestand with a matchup against Yale on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Opening tip is tabbed for Noon.
Though the Terriers will conclude their stretch at Case Gym, BU will continue its streak of games in the state of Massachusetts, as the upcoming road trip takes place against three Bay State rivals. BU also sandwiches Thanksgiving with two Ivy League foes in Yale and Harvard.
Each team seeks to get back in the win column. The Terriers dropped a tight, two-point loss to Maine back on Sunday, while Yale also fell to the Black Bears, and most recently lost to St. John's on Sunday.
Wednesday is Fan Appreciation Day. Fans who attend can enter to win Amazon gift cards at the marketing table, just in time for the holiday season.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU was thwarted 59-57 by Maine at The Roof, despite three Terriers in double figures.
- Junior Sydney Johnson led BU for the third game this season with 12 points.
- For her 38 combined points across two games last week, Johnson was an honorable mention for the Patriot League's weekly awards.
- Senior Riley Childs notched the first Terrier double-double of the year with 11 points and 11 rebounds. It was the seventh double-double of her career.
- Junior Liz Shean came off the bench and went 5-for-6 from the field to total 11 points.
- Sunday was just BU's third loss at home during the regular season since Jan. 18, 2020.
- Since the Terriers dropped a game to Boston College on Dec. 15, 2019, BU has followed up a home setback with a home win. In that timeframe, the Terriers have also won their next game after a loss in all but one game.
- Johnson is one of seven Patriot League student-athletes averaging 15 points per game, and she ranks third in the conference with a .882 free throw percentage.
- Childs is up to fifth in the league with a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game.
- Redshirt senior Emily Esposito, junior Maggie Pina, and Johnson have started all four games this year. That guard trio has combined to shoot 48.4 percent from three-point range.
- In four games so far, the Terrier bench has accounted for almost a third of the team's scoring (78 of 242 total points).
- Yale's two losses to Maine and St. John's were its first on the year.
- Previously, the Bulldogs defeated Big East foe Providence, BU neighbor Northeastern, and Sacred Heart.
- Yale was limited to 44 points on 33 percent shooting against the Black Bears.
- Camilla Emsbo paces the Bulldogs with 15.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per contest on 52.6 percent shooting. Jenna Clark is the other Bulldog averaging double digits at 13.4 points per game.
- Yale was predicted to finish fourth in the Ivy League Preseason Coaches Poll. BU faced the preseason favorite in Princeton back on Nov. 14.
- In their last season in 2019-20, the Bulldogs went 19-8, earning a 9-5 record against Ivy League opponents.
- Wednesday marks the 16th all-time meeting between BU and Yale, and the first since Dec. 6, 2014.
- The Terriers are 11-4 in the rivalry, though the Bulldogs have won two straight.
- In the last matchup, BU suffered a 66-59 loss despite 16 points from Meghan Green and Clodagh Scannell.
- Six of the last seven games between the pair have been decided by 12 points or less.
