BOSTON - The Boston University field hockey team will look to continue its undefeated homestand on Saturday (Oct. 14) in a Patriot League contest against Lafayette. Game time is set for noon.

This will be BU's annual Pride Game as fans can enjoy a BU pride decal and rally towel giveaway, while supplies last.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is currently tied for third in the Patriot League with a 2-1 record.
The Terriers have won all four games of their homestand so far, with one-goal victories coming against Bucknell, Northeastern, New Hampshire and Columbia.
BU has allowed the first goal in each game during the win streak.
Senior Thalia Steenssens has been on fire, tallying 12 points (4g, 4a) during the homestand and having a hand in eight of the team's 11 goals scored during the run.
Sophomore Caroline O'Brien leads the Terriers with six goals this season.
Senior goalkeeper Kate Thomason has started all 12 games for the Terriers this season and is fourth in the Patriot League with a 1.98 goals-against-average.
BU will attempt to win five straight games for the first time since starting off the spring 2021 season with five victories.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

Lafayette is 6-5 overall this season and is second in the Patriot League with a 3-1 record.
The Leopards have won three straight games, all of them being shutouts.
Lafayette most recently earned a 1-0 win over Drexel on Sunday for its Senior Day.
Freshman Stella Malinowski is the reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week and is tied for the team lead in goals with six.
Junior Lineke Spaans leads the Leopards with 17 points on five goals and seven assists.
Sophomore Raffi Fragomeni has started 10 games this season and is second in the Patriot League with a 1.64 goals-against-average.

SERIES HISTORY

Friday will mark the 12th meeting between the two programs.
The Terriers are 7-4 all-time against the Leopards.
Lafayette has won the last two meetings including a 2-0 contest in Easton last season.
