The No. 1 Boston University men's ice hockey team will head north this weekend for a two-game series at Vermont. Puck drop on Friday and Saturday is scheduled for 7 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+, with an international stream located here and an audio-only stream located here. Friday's tilt will also be shown live on TSN+.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU extended its win streak to five games with a 3-0 victory over then-No. 16 New Hampshire on Saturday at Agganis.
- Junior Mathieu Caron was named Hockey East Goaltender of the Week thanks to his first shutout as a Terrier.
- Eighteen of his 36 saves came in the first period as he helped hold UNH scoreless on three power-play attempts, including two full minutes of 5-on-3 time.
- The Terriers are 26-for-28 (92.9%) on the penalty kill since Nov. 22, which ranks second in the nation during that span.
- They have killed off the last 11 power plays they have faced dating back to the second period of a 5-2 win over Merrimack on Dec. 2.
- Graduate student Sam Stevens scored broke Saturday's scoreless tie with the game-winning goal midway through the third period, which extended his point streak to five games.
- He has notched three goals and two assists for five points in that span.
- Freshman Macklin Celebrini was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week after totaling four points (3g, 1a) in his first two games back from World Juniors.
- Celebrini recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over Northeastern on Jan. 9 before twice lighting the lamp against UNH.
- He has tallied 29 points (13g, 16a) in 17 games, which is second in Hockey East, second among national rookies and tied for sixth overall in the NCAA.
- His 1.71 points per game ranks second in the entire country.
- Sophomore Lane Hutson tallied three points (1g, 2a) against Northeastern in his return to the Terrier lineup after claiming World Juniors gold.
- He is tied for first among all NCAA defensemen with nine goals and is tied for sixth among NCAA defensemen (first in Hockey East) with 23 points.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Terriers and Catamounts have played 92 times since the 1971-72 season, with BU holding a 57-25-10 (.674) advantage.
- BU is 23-5-3 in the past 29 meetings, including a two-game sweep in Vermont and a Hockey East quarterfinal win at Agganis last season.
- The Terriers have won eight straight games at Gutterson Fieldhouse, a streak that started on Dec. 10, 2016.
- In fact, BU is 14-1-0 at Gutterson since 2011.
- From 1974-84, the teams shared time in the ECAC, with BU posting a 13-4-1 record against the Catamounts during the span.
- Since the Catamounts joined Hockey East in 2005, the teams have met 51 times and BU holds a 30-14-7 advantage in those contests.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
- UVM has won six of its last eight games, including last weekend's split at Northeastern.
- Graduate student Jérémie Bucheler leads the Catamounts with 16 points thanks to six goals and a team-high 10 assists.
- Graduate student Ryan Miotto (7g, 4a) has scored a team-best seven goals and is tied with senior Will Zapernick (3g, 8a) for second on the squad in points with 11.
- Senior goaltender Gabe Carriere has started all 20 games, going 10-9-1 with a .919 save percentage and a 2.35 GAA.
