Bakaityte Named PL Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Uma Bakaityte of the Boston University women's tennis team was named the Patriot League player of the week, the league announced Tuesday. This is her first weekly award of the season.
Bakaityte clinched the 4-2 victory for BU against Navy with a win at line two. She took down her opponent in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (7). The freshman is undefeated in Patriot League singles play headed into the final weekend of the regular season.
The Terriers will be back in action when they face Lehigh on the road on Saturday at noon.
