Aiosa Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sophomore Natalie Aiosa picked up Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week honors after a 2-0 week in net, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Aiosa has played all 180 minutes of the Terriers' season so far, and she made a combined 20 saves in two games against Sacred Heart and Stonehill, stopping eight shots against the Pioneers and 12 against the Skyhawks. Aiosa leads the league in saves per game with 10.67 and in save percentage with a .508 mark. She only allowed 10 goals this week and had a weekly save percentage of .667.
Also earning an honorable mention was freshman Alexandra Burns, who caused five turnovers and picked up seven ground balls while anchoring the Terriers' defense this week.
The Terriers take on Fairfield in their next action at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Nickerson Field.
