BOSTON – In the final road trip of the regular season, the Boston University softball team will visit Lehigh with both Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's matchup slated for a 12 p.m. start time.
Only six Patriot League games remain for the Terriers, who are currently tied with Army West Point atop the standings at 10-2. Owner of the tiebreaker, the Black Knights have both Lafayette (5-7 PL) and Colgate (3-9 PL) left on their schedule with the Leopards ending the regular season at BU next weekend.

- BU is looking to carry momentum from Tuesday's 2-0 win over Harvard in which sophomore Kylie Doherty (.367 avg.) became just the fifth Terrier in program history to earn 11+ homers in a season with a two-run blast in the sixth inning.
- Junior Brooke Deppiesse leads the Terriers at .426 with 48 runs scored and 13 doubles, while Doherty owns 46 runs scored and 41 RBIs.
- Junior Megan Coyle has tallied 20 of her team-high 46 RBIs in 12 PL games. Sophomore Libby Walsh is batting over .300 as well at .357 but has been unable to bat each of the last four games due to injury.
- Freshman Danika Nell (5-1, 3.41) tallied seven strikeouts against Harvard for her third solo shutout of the season and has posted 46 strikeouts in 49.1 innings, while classmate Ava Johnson (4-2, 2.87 ERA) has totaled 30 strikeouts over 31.2 innings.
- Junior Kasey Ricard (20-8, 2.06 ERA) ranks second nationally in innings pitched (196.2), third in victories, 12th in strikeouts (185) and 23rd in shutouts (4).
- In PL play, BU is 6-0 in road games following sweeps at Bucknell (14-7, 8-4, 8-2) and Holy Cross (11-1, 6-1, 6-1).
- The Terriers are hitting the road for the first time since posting a 2-1 victory at Boston College on April 9 and are leaving Massachusetts for the first time since coming up just short at Providence (3-2) on April 2.
- The Terriers are batting .308 on the season and holding opponents to .238 with 22-4 advantage in triples and 55-48 lead in doubles.
- The Mountain Hawks are 4-3 at home with all three losses coming against Army, including two decided in the eighth inning (6-5 and 4-3) alongside a 9-0 loss.
- Lehigh opened the home slate with a 7-2 victory over Penn and later swept Bucknell with a 2-0 victory and two other wins decided by a combined 19 runs.
- A front runner for PL Rookie of the Year, Kelly Fricker is batting a team-high .433 with 14 doubles, 24 RBIs and 32 runs scored, while Julia Mrochko (.353) owns a team-high 17 doubles and Rory Dudley (.301) has four homers.
- In the circle, Chloe Hess (9-8, 3.59 ERA) has tallied 64 strikeouts in 107.1 innings of work, while Madison Finnerty (11-6, 4.42 ERA) has recorded 62 strikeouts over 99.2 innings.
- Lehigh is batting .299 and holding opponents to .306 with teams posting a 61-51 advantage in stolen bases alongside a 27-7 lead in homers.
- BU leads the all-time series, 28-17, with a 17-7 home record compared to a 9-10 mark in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
- The Terriers won all five meetings last year at home, including a 1-0 (8) PL championship clinching victory, with four of the contests decided by a combined five runs.
- Two years ago at Lehigh, BU went 2-1 with 5-1 and 9-2 victories followed by a 3-2 loss.
- BU (7x) and Lehigh (3x) have combined for the last 10 PL tournament titles.
- BU will conclude the regular season at home with a doubleheader against Bryant on Wednesday (April 30) and weekend series against Lafayette (May 3-4).
