BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team faces Providence and Boston College for the final weekend of the regular season. Puck drop against the Friars on Friday at Walter Brown Arena is set for 6 p.m. while the Saturday road trip to Conte Forum against the Eagles is set for 4 p.m. on NESN.

Friday's game will be senior night, recognizing the eight graduating Terriers. It will also be the final home game of the regular season.

TERRIER TIDBITS

Most recently, BU dropped both contests last weekend at Walter Brown Arena, losing to No. 5 Northeastern, 5-2, and No. 6 UConn, 2-0.
In the Friday game, senior Clara Yuhn and junior Neely Nicholson found the back of the net. Yuhn's goal came unassisted while Nicholson was assisted by senior Sydney Healey and sophomore Tessa Demain.
Junior Mari Pietersen made 26 saves against Northeastern and graduate student Michelle Pasiechnyk made 34 stops against UConn.
The Terriers' faceoff win percentage of 0.541 is second in Hockey East and 10th in the NCAA.
BU has recorded 853 team saves.
The Terriers' penalty killing percentage of 0.840 is good for fourth in Hockey East and is 13th in the NCAA.
S. Healey's two shorthanded goals are second in the league and third in the NCAA.
Sophomore Kaileigh Quigg and S. Healey are the lone Terriers to surpass their 2024-25 points total of anyone who registered at least one point last season. Sophomore Keira Healey and Yuhn have tied their season points total from last year.
Pietersen's save percentage (.921) is 11th in Hockey East.
Pasiechnyk's save percentage (.919) ranks 12th in Hockey East.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS

Providence is 11-19-2 this season with an 8-12-2 mark in league play.
On the road, the Friars are 6-12-0.
Providence most recently defeated No. 14/15 Holy Cross, 3-2, at home.
The Friars are on a two-game winning streak, having topped Boston College in overtime, 2-1, last Friday at Conte Forum.
Providence has won more than two back-to-back appearances only once this season with a three-game winning streak to cap the first half of the season.
Goaltender Hope Walinski leads Hockey East in games played, making 32 appearances.
