BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team is set to host the American Eagles on Saturday, March 28 at Nickerson Field.
Opening draw is set for noon and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Approximately an hour prior to the game, the senior class will be honored for their commitment to the program with an on-field ceremony. The seniors being recognized are: Abby Cotraro, Eva Chouinard, Jayne Feeney, Samantha Simpson, Alyssa Mozi, Haley Matusz, Siri Hodgins, Leah Hodgins and Elle Stevenson.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers fell, 13-8, at Loyola Maryland last Saturday (March 21).
- Clawing back from a six-goal deficit, the Terriers scored to make it 11-9 Loyola Maryland with 4:20 remaining in the game, but the goal was taken off the board after a lengthy review by officials.
- From there, the Greyhounds maintained control of the game.
- Junior Tessa Geddes scored three goals and freshman Karina Harrison scored twice, marking her first career two-goal game.
- Sophomore Kaitlyn Barton caused a career-high three turnovers and junior goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa stopped nine shots.
- Senior Elle Stevenson is currently on a 10-game points streak and is tied for the team lead in goals with 25.
- Hodgins enters the weekend ranked third in the Patriot League and 17th in NCAA DI in caused turnovers per game with 2.36. She has 26 caused turnovers, the most in a season since Claire Gola recorded 31 in 2023.
- For their efforts against Cornell (March 17) and Loyola Maryland (March 21), Geddes and Aiosa earned honorable mentions from the Patriot League on Monday.
- The Eagles are 2-8 through 10 games this season and 1-2 against Patriot League opponents.
- They bested Lehigh on March 20 and lost in overtime to Colgate on March 14. They also dropped a 16-5 contest to Loyola Maryland on Wednesday (March 25).
- Seniors Kellie Linehan (25g, 7a) and Reagan Murdoch (26g, 1a) have led the charge offensively.
- The Eagles lead the Patriot League in caused turnovers/game with 11.40.
- Goalkeeper Brooke Hill has a 14.55 GAA and a .392 save percentage.
- This will be the 11th meeting between the Terriers and Eagles.
- The teams have split the last four meetings, with BU taking last year's clash 12-5. Before that, BU won each of the previous 6 meetings
- Izabella Amonte and Tessa Geddes scored two goals each, while Siri and Leah Hodgins both had a goal.
- Junior Natalie Aiosa made six saves on 11 shots faced.
