TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers coasted to a 16-3 win over American last Saturday.
- Four Terriers recorded four-point performances: Junior Izzy Amonte (5g), senior Elle Stevenson (4g), junior Tessa Geddes (3g, 1a) and senior Alyssa Mozi (1g, 3a).
- BU allowed two goals in the first half and held the Eagles scoreless for the next 44:05, before they got on the board again with 10 seconds left in the game.
- Three goals are the fewest the Terriers have allowed in a game since Feb. 16, 2019, when they gave up just two to Hartford. They're the fewest BU has allowed in a Patriot League contest since April 23, 2016, when they toppled Army West Point 14-3.
- Three goals is a career-low for junior Natalie Aiosa, who earned a PL honorable mention in the win.
- Stevenson is currently on an 11-game points streak and leads the team with 29 goals.
- Amonte's five-goal performance pushed her to 52 career goals in just 28 games, making her the fastest Terrier to 50 goals since Mallory Collins scored 50 in her first 19 games from 2012-14.
- Senior defender Siri Hodgins enters the weekend ranked fourth in the Patriot League and 22nd in NCAA DI in caused turnovers per game with 2.25.
- With two caused turnovers against American, she has now posted seven straight games with multiple CT.
- With Avery Cutair's two assists against American, she became the first Terrier freshman to hit 20 assists in a season since 2017, when Kailey Conry notched 54.
- The Midshipmen have had a dominant season so far, winning their first 11 games before falling to Loyola Maryland last Saturday (March 28).
- They enter the matchup ranked eighth in the IL Women and IWLCA polls.
- Navy has three players on the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Watch List: Alyssa Chung, Ava Yovino and Mikayla Williams.
- Chung leads the team and is second in the PL in goals scored with 41 this season, including six goals against the Greyhounds last weekend. Yovino has posted 21 assists to lead Navy and has 29 ground balls, first among field players for the Midshipmen.
- In goal, Felicia Giglio has the best GAA in the conference with an 8.71 mark and has a .456 save percentage, which leads the conference among players with 10 or more games played.
- This will be the 14th meeting between the Terriers and Midshipmen.
- BU has only defeated Navy once in Annapolis, back in 2014.
- The Terriers most recently beat the Midshipmen in 2023 at Nickerson Field, when Navy was ranked 20th. That was BU's last ranked win.
- Izzy Amonte, Leah Hodgins and Tessa Geddes all scored in the 16-8 loss to the Midshipmen last season.
