A four-time All-Ivy League honoree at nearby rival Harvard, Laura Ricciardone joined head coach Ashley Waters' staff in August 2015 as an assistant coach who will work primarily with pitchers.

"Laura possess a passion for competition and a true understanding of success," said Waters at the time of Ricciardone's hiring. "Laura has a work-ethic beyond any athlete I ever coached. She understood dedication and sacrifice, yet remained well-balanced in her academic endeavors. Her drive for excellence in the circle will create an environment of greatness amongst the pitching staff. I believe in her coaching abilities and know she will do a phenomenal job."

Ricciardone graduated in May after helping lead the Crimson to a pair of Ivy League titles and NCAA appearances, highlighted by a regional final berth in 2012. She was named the team MVP her final two seasons and also received NFCA All-Region accolades both years as well.

The 10-time Ivy League Pitcher of the Week posted a career 1.96 ERA with 57 wins and 320 strikeouts in 507.1 innings of work while adding five homers from the plate the last two years. On the coaching end, she has served as a pitching instructor at multiple pitching camps, including one in Louisiana hosted by LSU and Louisiana Lafayette.
