HANOVER, N.H. - The No. 17/18 Boston University lacrosse team dropped a 15-10 road contest to No. 8/9 Dartmouth on Wednesday afternoon at Scully-Fahey Field. Senior McKinley Curro recorded three goals and an assist for the Terriers, who fall to an even 5-5 on the year. The Big Green won its sixth straight contest to improve to 6-1.

Dartmouth scored the first goal of the game, but BU quickly tied it up and held a two-goal lead on two occasions in the first half (3-1, 4-2) before entering the break with a 7-6 advantage.

The Big Green, however, scored the first two goals of the first half and never trailed again. Sophomore Hannah Frey scored her second goal of the game for BU with just under 21 minutes left in regulation to make it a 9-9 affair, but the home team scored six of the game's final seven goals to secure the victory.

Senior Xan Weitzel added a goal and two assists for the Terriers, who got one goal apiece from senior Traci Landy, junior Rachel Collins, sophomore Molly Swain and freshman Danielle Etrasco. Junior Mandy Rogers recorded two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Dartmouth was paced by junior Greta Meyer, who tallied game highs in points (6) and goals (5). Sophomores Sarah Parks (4g) and Hilary Smith (2g, 2a) registered four points each.

The Big Green outshot the Terriers, 31-25, and held advantages in both ground balls (18-11) and draw controls (17-10).

Senior goalkeeper Rachel Klein made four saves in goal for the Terriers, while fellow senior Julie Wadland stopped eight shots on the other end for Dartmouth.

BU will return to action on Saturday (April 3) when it plays host to No. 9/8 Syracuse. Game time at Nickerson Field is set for 1 p.m.
