
Softball Places 10 Terriers on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After claiming their fourth Patriot League title in six years, the Boston University softball team had 10 Terriers named to the PL Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
The number of honorees marks the fifth straight season that BU featured double-digit honorees. Senior Alexa Ponce (3.71 GPA) was recognized for the fourth time as a psychology major, while two-time PL Player of the Year and senior Alex Heinen (3.50 GPA) earned her third award.
Junior Lizzie Annerino (political science) and freshman Emily Gant (health science) both led the Terriers by recording a perfect 4.00 GPA.
