
Softball Leads Patriot League with 16 Academic Honor Roll Members

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After claiming a fourth straight Patriot League regular season title, the Boston University softball team placed 16 Terriers on this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday morning.
BU finished tied with Bucknell (16) with Colgate placing third at 15 and Holy Cross taking the next spot at 14 honorees. To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Senior Nicole Amodio (health science), junior Caitlin Coker (biology) and senior Emily Gant (health science) all posted a perfect 4.00 GPA after previously earning Patriot League All-Academic and CoSIDA Academic All-District accolades. Graduate student Marina Sylvestri (television) was next closest at 3.85 GPA.
