BOSTON – Boston University women's lacrosse (6-3, 1-3 PL) is prepped to travel to Lafayette (1-11, 0-4 PL) for the continuation of Patriot League play on Saturday (April 1). Opening draw against the Leopards is set for noon.
This will be the tenth-ever meeting between the Patriot League foes and the fourth on the road.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- In a mid-week home contest, BU fell to Turnpike Trophy rival Holy Cross in a 17-13 decision.
- Six Terriers scored in the loss including freshman Jayne Feeney who led the team with four goals, a career best.
- Junior Kendall Sims, senior Lauren Kaye, and sophomores Hannah Tillier and Matty Spaeth each scored two goals. Senior Jennifer Barry also tallied one for the Terriers.
- BU held Holy cross to three goals in the second half, including a six-goal scoring streak.
- Despite not finding the back of the net in the most recent game, senior Claire Gola continues to lead BU with 22 goals this season.
- Gola also leads the Terriers in ground balls with 19 and caused turnovers with 17.
- Barry remains the leading points-scorer for BU with 31 on the season. The senior has also registered 84 draw controls.
- The Terriers scored two free position goals against Holy Cross after a two-game drought on the free position.
- BU controlled 25 draws against the Crusaders to set a team season high in the category.
- The Terriers also had their first perfect game on the clear this season, going 13-for-13.
- Six Terriers have started each game for BU: Gola, grad student Maggie Lohrer, Feeney, sophomore Libby Carbo and juniors Ellen Monahan and Quinn Ferry.
- Junior goalkeeper Reilly Agres has started nine games this season and has recorded 67 saves across the nine games.
- Senior Arielle Hammer has made six appearances in net with 15 saves.
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
- Lafayette is 1-11 overall with an 0-4 record in Patriot League play.
- The Leopards single win came in overtime against Canisius in a 10-9 decision.
- Lafayette has not won a game on the road and has an 0-6 away record.
- Most recently, the Leopards dropped a 17-6 contest at then-No. 24 Navy.
- The 14 freshmen and 24 upperclassmen are led by head coach Katie McConnell who is in her fourth season.
THE SERIES
- BU leads the series with Lafayette 8-1, including a 7-1 conference record.
- Ever since the first meeting on the road in 2014, BU has not dropped a contest at Lafayette.
- The Terriers were on an eight-game winning streak until the most recent meeting in 2022 in which the Leopards won 16-13.
- BU is 3-0 on the road against Lafayette.
