Peterson Signs Entry-Level Contract with St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - Senior forward Dylan Peterson of the Boston University men's ice hockey team has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues, the organization announced on Friday night.
Peterson, a third-round pick of the Blues in the 2020 NHL Draft, was a four-year standout at BU. He totaled 60 points (26g, 34a) in 119 games with the Terriers. He saved his best for last, helping BU reach a second consecutive Frozen Four by recording a career-high 20 points on eight goals and 12 assists. He was also a career-best plus-10 this season and scored a career-high three game-winning goals. Peterson tallied three points (1g, 2a) and was a plus-3 in the NCAA Sioux Falls Regional.
A native of Roseville, California, Peterson was earned Beanpot MVP in 2022 after scoring late in the third period to lift the Terriers to a 1-0 victory over Northeastern. He also scored a lae goal in the 2023 Hockey East semifinals to force overtime in an eventual Terrier victory that helped propel them to the Hockey East title. Peterson improved upon his point total in each season he was at BU and scored a career-high 10 goals as a sophomore in 2021-22. He dished out a career-best 13 assists last season.
