Eiserman Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. - Freshman Cole Eiserman of the Boston University men's ice hockey team was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Eiserman was the hero in Saturday's 3-2 victory over UMass, scoring just 2:59 into overtime to punch the Terriers' ticket to the Hockey East semifinals. Eiserman also had an assist to complete his third straight multi-point game. He has totaled five goals and two assists over the last three games to help BU rattle off three straight wins.
The Newburyport, Massachusetts, native leads all NCAA rookies with a team-high 21 goals and is ninth among all first-year players with 31 points. He is the fourth Terrier rookie in the last 20 years to score 20 goals and is one of just seven rookies this decade to record 21+ goals and 10+ assists.
