Seven Terriers to Skate at World Junior Summer Showcase

MINNEAPOLIS - Seven members of the Boston University men's ice hockey team will skate at the World Junior Summer Showcase, hosted at the University of Minnesota from July 25-August 2.
Rising sophomores Kamil Bednarik and Cole Eiserman are on USA Hockey's Team Blue while rising sophomore Cole Hutson and incoming freshman Jack Murtagh are on Team White. Rising sophomore Sascha Boumedienne is representing Sweden while two Terrier newcomers for the 2025-26 season, rising sophomore Sacha Boisvert and incoming freshman Ryder Ritchie, are with Canada. Only one other school has more representatives at this summer's showcase than BU.
The showcase serves as an evaluation camp to assist in the process of selecting the national rosters for the IIHF World Junior Championship, scheduled for Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in the Twin Cities. If they make the team, Eiserman and Hutson will look to win a second straight gold medal with Team USA, as they combined with Terrier classmate Brandon Svoboda to win the 2025 tournament.
