The Boston University men's ice hockey team will continue its 104th season this weekend when the Terriers welcome Boston College to a sold-out Agganis Arena for the 299th Battle of Comm Ave. Puck drop on NESN and ESPN+ is scheduled for 7 p.m. An audio-only broadcast for both games will be located here.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers are coming off being swept by then-No. 11 Providence last weekend; the Friars had swept BC the previous weekend.
- In last Friday's 4-3 defeat, sophomore Cole Eiserman scored twice, both times off assists by classmate Brandon Svoboda.
- Freshman Tynan Lawrence scored his first collegiate goal at Providence.
- Eiserman became the first Terrier to reach 10 goals this season.
- He is one of just five Hockey East skaters to record 10 goals in each of the past two seasons.
- Sophomore Cole Hutson, a Hobey Baker Award nominee, is tied for fourth among NCAA defenseman and first among all Hockey East blue liners with 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists.
- Hutson also paces all NCAA blue liners with four game-winning goals.
- BU has won its past five pre-Beanpot games and has followed those five fixtures with an opening-round win on four occasions.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Comm. Ave. rivals have met 298 times and BU leads the series, 141-136-21 (.508).
- No other opponent has appeared on BU's schedule more often; Northeastern is the next closest, having faced BU 257 times since the 1930-31 season.
- The first game in BU Hockey history was on Feb. 6, 1918, against Boston College at Boston Arena.
- The Terriers won the last meeting between the longtime rivals, defeating BC, 4-1, in last year's Beanpot title game.
- BU and BC have played 46 overtime games and the Eagles hold a 16-10-20 edge.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
- BC bounced back from being swept by Providence with a weekend sweep of New Hampshire.
- The Eagles earned a 5-2 home win on Friday and a 3-0 road victory the next night.
- Sophomore Dean Letourneau leads BC with 13 goals and is tied with classmate James Hagens (11g, 12a) for the team lead in points (23).
- Sophomore Jake Sondreal paces BC with 13 assists.
- Junior Will Vote scored all three goals in Saturday's triumph at UNH and also had two assists on Friday.
- Freshman goaltender Louka Cloutier was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday after making 29 saves in Saturday's shutout and stopping 23 shots the previous night.
- He is 12-6-1 this year with a .912 save percentage and a 2.22 goals-against average.
