Terriers Prepped for Home-and-Home Series With Merrimack

BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team is set for a home-and-home series with Merrimack this weekend. BU travels to Merrimack for a 2 p.m. tilt on Friday before hosting the Warriors on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Saturday's game will be BU's mental health awareness game in support of Morgan's Message.

- Most recently, BU dropped back-to-back outings to Vermont at Walter Brown Arena.
- The Terriers fell 5-2 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday.
- Senior Sydney Healey scored in both games, netting the second goal on Friday and the lone goal on Saturday. Friday's goal came unassisted, her fifth of the season in that category.
- Sophomore Keira Healey scored her first collegiate goal to light the lamp for the Terriers on Friday, doing so on the power play.
- Senior Maeve Carey and S. Healey assisted on K. Healey's goal, while senior Clara Yuhn and sophomore Kaileigh Quigg assisted on S. Healey's Saturday goal.

- Junior Mari Pietersen's save percentage (.924) is eighth in Hockey East and 27th in the NCAA.
- Pasiechnyk's save percentage (.907) ranks 11th in Hockey East.
- BU will be without seniors Lilli Welcke and Luisa Welcke as the pair are representing Team Germany in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
- Merrimack is 5-18-3 overall with a 2-13-1 record in Hockey East play. It is 3-8-2 at home and 2-10-1 on the road.
- Most recently, the Warriors split a weekend series with Maine, winning 2-0 on Jan. 23 and losing 4-2 on Jan. 24.
- Merrimack notably upset then-No. 5 UConn in overtime, 2-1, on Jan. 16 at home.
- The only time Merrimack has won back-to-back games this season was when it defeated UConn and Maine.
- In its three shootout attempts, Merrimack has won only once.
- The Warriors have been shut out three times this year with two coming against Hockey East opponents (Northeastern and Boston College).
