TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers had a tougher day on the offensive side of the ball against Fairfield on Saturday (Feb. 14), losing 9-5.
- Senior Elle Stevenson was an offensive bright spot, as she tallied four goals.
- Three of those goals came on assists from freshman Avery Cutair, whose eight through three games rank 15th in NCAA DI and second among freshmen.
- Stevenson has six games in her career with four or more goals and leads all active Terriers with 61 career goals and 73 career points.
- BU currently ranks 37th in the NCAA in draw control percentage (.571), thanks mostly to Kaitlyn Barton's 6.33 draw controls per game, which puts her 30th in the NCAA.
- Barton's career high in draw controls is 12, which came in the win over Stonehill last Wednesday (Feb. 11).
- Senior Leah Hodgins is on a 12-game points streak, dating back to the 2025 season.
- The Red Foxes are 1-1 this season and recently lost to Patriot League foe Army West Point, 23-7, on Tuesday (Feb. 10).
- Sophomore Amelia Pirozzi has the team lead in goals with five this season, and she scored four in the team's opener against Binghamton.
- Megan Morris has handled the bulk of the goalkeeping work. The junior made 11 saves and allowed just six goals in the win over Binghamton, but allowed 15 goals on 21 shots in one half at Army West Point.
- She sports a 14.00 GAA and a .447 save percentage.
- Tuesday is the first meeting between the two teams.
- BU has played a myriad of MAAC teams over the past two seasons and the Red Foxes will be the fifth unique MAAC opponent BU has faced since the start of the 2025 season.
- BU is 3-2 against the MAAC over the past two seasons.
