TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers erased a five-goal deficit in an 11-8 win over the Marist Red Foxes on Tuesday afternoon at Nickerson Field.
- Down 5-0 after the first quarter, BU went on an 11-3 run over the final three quarters to earn the win, holding the Red Foxes scoreless in the second half.
- Senior Elle Stevenson was the leader in goals for the Terriers, slotting home four — including her first career player-down goal.
- Classmate Jayne Feeney was another multiple-goal scorer for the Terriers, potting two tallies and assisting on another.
- Junior goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa made 12 saves, including seven second-half stops that kept the Red Foxes off the board in the final 30 minutes.
- Aiosa's 12 saves pushed her past 300 career saves, making her the sixth BU goalkeeper to ever surpass the mark.
- She enters Friday ranked second in the Patriot League in save percentage (.521) and in GAA (9.39).
- Stevenson has scored eight goals in her past two games with four tallies against Marist and four at Fairfield.
- She leads all active Terriers 65 career goals and 77 career points.
- Amonte has scored at least one goal in every game so far this season, with a total of six.
- The Bulldogs have opened their season with two wins, defeating UMass Lowell 14-4 on Saturday (Feb. 14) and Quinnipiac 15-9 on Tuesday (Feb. 17).
- They are ranked 14th in the latest IL Women national poll and are 15th in the latest IWLCA poll.
- Through those two wins, freshman Kate Gould has starred with seven goals, two assists, nine points and 21 draw controls (all team leads).
- In net, sophomore Niamh Pfaff has backstopped Yale with a 6.50 goals against average and a .435 save percentage.
- The Terriers have a 7-12 record against Yale all-time.
- The teams last met in 2015, and the Bulldogs came out on top, 14-6.
- Prior to that, the Terriers had won the previous four meetings.
