Terriers Come Up Short Against Brown in 10-8 Loss
March 10, 2026 | Women's Lacrosse
BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team battled for 60 minutes but could not overcome the Brown Bears in a 10-8 loss on Tuesday afternoon at Nickerson Field.
The Terriers (4-4, 0-1 PL) cut a once-six goal deficit to just two with 1:01 to play, however the Bears (3-3, 1-0 Ivy) had cushioned themselves enough, using an 8-0 run over 37:36 in the middle of the game to hold on for the victory.
Once again leading the offensive charge was senior Elle Stevenson, who scored three goals in the game. She was helped by junior Reilly Walsh, who tallied both her goals in the final quarter and added an assist, and junior Izabella Amonte, who notched two goals. Also scoring for BU was freshman Avery Cutair, who also added an assist.
Junior Natalie Aiosa managed some impressive stops in net and made six saves overall.
