TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers dropped a home contest to Brown, 10-8, on Tuesday.
- BU came out hot, posting a 3-1 lead after one quarter, before the Bears went on an 8-0 run spanning 37:36.
- The Terriers scored again in the fourth quarter and outscored Brown 5-4 in the frame, cutting the deficit back to two, but it was not enough.
- Senior Elle Stevenson scored three goals to lead BU.
- Joining her on the scoresheet were junior Izabella Amonte (2 goals), junior Reilly Walsh (2g, 1a) and freshman Avery Cutair (1g, 1a).
- Junior goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa made six saves in net and senior defender Siri Hodgins caused three turnovers.
- Stevenson leads the Terriers in goals with 21 and is fifth in the Patriot League.
- She posted her 20th goal of the year in a hat-trick performance against Brown, marking her second season in which she's scored 20 goals in her first eight games.
- Hodgins enters the weekend ranked fifth in the Patriot League in caused turnovers per game with 1.75.
- Entering Saturday, the Terriers have the second-best clearing percentage in the Patriot League (.925), and rank 22nd in the NCAA.
- The Leopards have gone 4-3 to open the season, most recently dropping games to George Washington (15-13 L) and Holy Cross (18-7 L).
- Lafayette currently ranks fifth in the PL in goals per game (12.86) and have been careful with the ball, posting the second-lowest turnovers per game mark in the League as well (12.14).
- Isabelle Pohmer leads the team with 14 goals, while Georgia Swarr (12g, 5a) tops the Leopards with 17 points.
- Goalkeeper Kennedy Carr boasts a 13.08 GAA and a .406 save percentage.
- BU is 9-3 all-time against Lafayette, including a 17-8 win last year in Easton.
- Both Amonte and Stevenson scored four goals in the win, and Jayne Feeney and Leah Hodgins each had a goal. Aiosa made nine saves.
- The Terriers have not beaten Lafayette at home since an 18-7 victory in 2021.
