AS A SENIOR IN 2019
Wrapped up stellar collegiate career as a two-time Patriot League Player of the Year and BU record holder in RBIs (155) after helping lead the Terriers to their third Patriot League title and NCAA appearance in four years ... Also repeated as regular season champions while posting fourth most wins (37) in program history and earning perfect home record (18-0) for second time ever ... After catching for her third PL Pitcher of the Year (Ali DuBois 2x, Melanie Russell), she became the first in PL history to earn both Player and Defensive Player of the Year honors in the same season since the defensive award was originated in 2014 ... Fourth Terrier to repeat as a conference's Player of the Year and first since April Setterlund ('11) was recognized twice in the America East ... Started all 57 games with 55 at catcher and two at first base ... Named one of three team captains alongside Diana Parker and Brittany Younan ... Became the second catcher in Patriot League history to earn conference Player of the Year honors ... Claimed BU's 12th overall Player of the Year award ... Added her first NFCA All-Region and ECAC All-Star honor along with her third All-PL award ... Caught every pitch in 59 games while batting a team-high .355 to help the Terriers capture both the PL regular season and tournament crowns ... Her 71 hits ranked tied-for-fourth all-time at BU, tied-for-seventh most ever in the PL and No. 58 in the NCAA this year ... Recorded 50 RBIs, second most in PL history and No. 3 in BU history ... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017
One of four Terriers again to start all 52 contests ... Earned her second All-Conference Second Team award at the catcher position though did play several games at first, designated player and in the outfield ... Finished fourth on the team batting .294 while recording a PL-high 42 RBIs and 12 doubles ... Finished third in the conference with seven homers while tallying 52 hits, 20 runs scored and two stolen bases ... Increased her batting average to .357 during PL play and finished ... Committed just two errors all season, finishing with a .991 fielding percentage ... Had 13 multi-hit performances and nine multi-RBI games as well ... Heinen tallied a career-high three hits in four at-bats with a double and two RBIs against NC State (Feb. 12) ... Followed up with four RBIs against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 17) on a two-run homer and two sac flies ... Matched the RBI production against Army West Point (April 16) with a pair of doubles and two runs scored ... Went a combined 3-of-5 in a doubleheader at Bucknell (May 7) with four RBIs and a double ... Went 1-of-3 with a walk, RBI and two runs scored against Lehigh (May 12) to help BU reach the PL championship round for the second consecutive year ... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the first time after earning a GPA above 3.20.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016
One of four Terriers to start all 52 contests ... Split time at catcher and first base ... Batted .267 and had a team-best nine doubles to earn All-Conference Second Team honors ... Recorded 25 RBIs, three home runs, 40 hits and 13 runs ... Tied for the team lead in sacrifice flies (3) ... Had eight multi-hit games and put together two six-game hitting streaks ... Earned first career hit and RBI against Charleston Southern (Feb. 19) ... Went 2-for-3, including first career home run, with six RBIs in 10-2 win over Providence (March 16) ... Also had multi-hit games against N.C. A&T, Ball State, Army (2), UMass Lowell, Lehigh, Colgate ... Added home runs against Army (March 26) and then again at Louisiana Lafayette in the opener of the NCAA Tournament (May 20).
