KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Previously recognized as the Patriot League Defender of the Year, Boston University women's soccer senior Rachen Bloznalis has been tabbed an All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team honoree, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced.
Bloznalis' first-career NSCAA award marks the eighth straight season that BU has placed at least one Terrier on the region's top squad. The Upton, Mass., native helped the Terriers shut out five conference opponents this season and limit Patriot League schools to just 3.33 shots on goal per game en route to the PL tournament final.
She also tallied three goals with game-winning scores against American and Navy.
