BOSTON – Concluding its three-game homestand, the Boston University women's soccer program hosts BIG EAST foe Providence on Sunday, Sept. 6. Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.
Entering the weekend, BU (2-4) is 1-2 at home in 2026. This marks the final occurrence of consecutive home games this season for the Terriers.
Providence (2-0-4) is 0-0-2 on the road so far with draws against Northeastern and Rutgers. Entering the weekend, the Friars are one of three teams with a Division I-leading four ties this year.
Sunday's match airs on ESPN+ at the top of the hour with Katie Bennert and Zach Austin on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available through GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
The game also serves as the program's Terrier Wellness contest. A moment of silence will be observed before opening kick in recognition of Morgan's Message.

- BU sustained a 2-1 setback to Harvard on Thursday, Sept. 3.
- The Crimson deposited two penalty kick goals in the first half before junior Olivia Avellar sliced the gap in half in the 83rd minute on an assist from senior Helene Tyburczy.
- The Terriers outshot Harvard, 11-8, though the visitors had a 6-2 lead in shots on goal.
