Women’s Soccer Clashes With Army West Point on Wednesday

BOSTON – In a rematch of the 2025 Patriot League championship game, the Boston University women's soccer program welcomes Army West Point to Nickerson Field on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Opening kick is set for 6 p.m.

BU (5-5-1, 2-0-0 PL) looks to extend its winning streak to a season-best four games. During their current three-game winning stretch, the Terriers have outscored opponents 5-2.

Army West Point (5-6-0, 2-0-0 PL) also enters the night on a three-game winning streak, all of which have been shutouts. However, the Black Knights are also 0-3 in road matches in 2026.

- BU improved to 2-0 in Patriot League play with a 1-0 triumph at Loyola Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 26.
- Freshman Sam Ryan found the back of the net in the 62nd minute while junior goalkeeper Bridget Carr posted a three-save shutout.
- For her heroics, Ryan was tabbed as the Patriot League Midfielder and Rookie of the Week for Sept. 28, becoming the first Terrier in nearly two years to capture multiple weekly awards in the same week.
- Senior Kat Slott notched an assist on Ryan's tally to give her a three-game points streak. She ranks second in the Patriot League with 11 points in 2026.
- Carr is now 13-0-6 as a Terrier in the regular season against Patriot League competition with 11 clean sheets and 11 goals allowed.
- During its three-game winning streak, BU is outshooting foes 61-18 with a 28-6 gap in shots on goal.
- Corner kicks also favor the Terriers 25-7 in that span.
