
Fifteen Terriers Named to PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – A program-record 15 members of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were named to the 2016 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Thursday.
Rising senior Jake Dansey leads the Terriers with his third straight appearance on the honor roll. He achieved a 3.53 grade-point average as a computer engineering major. To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.20 or better.
Rising juniors James Burke (3.20), Jack Wheeler (3.80) and Jack Wilson (3.43) joined Dansey as repeat selections, as that trio also qualified for last year's honor roll. All three players are majoring in business administration and management.
The Terriers also boasted 11 first-time honorees, including Alex Paroda, who graduated in May with a 3.28 GPA and a degree in business administration and management. Nine other Terriers that made the honor roll are also pursuing that degree, including rising sophomores Matt DeMarche (3.44), Grant Gregory (3.91), Christopher Lappin (3.41) and Andrew Pugliese (3.35). Rising seniors Pat Myers (3.51) and Craig Zebrowski (3.25) also share that major.
Two other rising seniors - Cal Dearth (3.53) and Henry Lee (3.35) - earned recognition, with Dearth majoring in hospitality administration and Lee studing environmental analysis & policy. Rising juniors Isaac Lipton (undecided) and Brandon Bowman (economics) each secured a spot on the squad thanks to a 3.50 GPA.
