Terriers Ranked 19th in Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook

The Boston University men's lacrosse team was ranked 19th in Inside Lacrosse's 2018 Face-Off Yearbook.
This is the highest that the Terriers have been ranked in the magazine's annual preseason poll. BU came in at No. 24 last year and exceeded expectations, beginning the year 7-0 and finishing with a program-record 12 wins and the program's first Patriot League postseason berth.
The Terriers return their entire starting midfield line and two of their starting attackmen from last season's Patriot League semifinal contest. That attack group includes senior Jack Wilson, who finished with 47 points (29g, 18a) and has recorded at least one point in 43 straight games. In addition, freshmen Chris Gray (No. 11) and Malcolm Glendinning (No. 90), who were among Inside Lacrosse's Power 100 Freshmen, will help bolster the attack and defense, respectively.
BU will face seven of the top-25 teams this season, including No. 1 Duke and No. 8 Ohio State. The Terriers' 2018 schedule opens on Feb. 3 when they host No. 24 Providence at Nickerson Field.
